12^th Student Scientific Conference

Instruments and Methods for Biology and Medicine

The 12^th FBME conference for master’s and doctoral students will be held on May 19, 2022. The participants will present their research on the instrumentation and methods in biology and medicine in English. The conference will include invited talks by specialists in this field.

A book of abstracts will be available to all conference participants. A book of proceedings will be published following the conference.

• Conference location: FBME building in Kladno 
• Conference format: hybrid setting. Students are encouraged to present their papers onsite. However, virtual participation in the conference may also be possible. 
• Length of the presentation: 15 minutes including Q and A.
• Participation: free, open to public, but registration is required. 
• Student-presenters must submit their abstracts simultaneously with registration by May 5, 2022.

Access

The conference will be held in the lecture hall KL:C4 at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, Sítná Sq. 3105, Kladno. Busses  run frequently between Prague and Kladno. The Prague bus station is located at Evropská street, next to the exit of the metro station Nádraží Veleslavín. Board bus No. 300 or 399 (boarding on No. 322 is not recommended). The journey should take about 25-35 min. Leave the bus at the station Nam. Sítná. You will see the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering across the street on your left.
